Praise God for the opportunities of 2024 – may we be faithful in listening to His voice and then doing what He says in response.
The ongoing Warm Spaces across the town showing Christian compassion in action in the midst of cost pressures.
The Crown Him with Many Crowns event on 20th January – a time to celebrate who He is and what He is doing as we pray, hear what God is doing in communities through His people as we listen to Roger Sutton from Gather Movement. Education workers who help people realise their potential at whatever skill level. Pray they will accept God’s wisdom to do their teaching well.
Medical workers who provide such diverse assistance to people in their need. Pray for compassion and insight to abound as they do their vital work, as well as more faith in a directly healing God!
Office based workers – may there be positive and encouraging office culture pervading all offices in our area, so that people can fulfil their potential as they work.
Police – as they continue to face so many pressures and priority calls – may they have the wisdom they need alongside great integrity to interpret and apply the law well.
Dear Creator God, we recognise and rejoice in you as the source of our creativity. Please help Christians to look to you more intently in their ministry and follow your guidance. Help those who do not yet acknowledge you to be able “think your thoughts after you” so that they do achieve your purposes too. As more of your Will is done then we know that more of your Kingdom will come in 2024. We ask this that you may be glorified. Amen.
